Hi gang

There will not be a formal dinner social for the next few weeks as we all get ready for the State Rally and our National Rally.  But - that doesn't mean you can't just do an inpromptu & old fashioned "phone tree" & pick up your friendship book and call your friends to see if they wanna join you for a dinner ride.

So - obviously the upcoming events have been ingrained in your skull but I'll make mention anyway.  This weekend is our very own Washington State Rally in Winthrop!  If you have never attended, you are in for a treat!  The town absolutely loves us and makes us feel welcome & right at home.  Be sure to visit Sheri's Sweet Shop as there will be a ice cream eating contest (details to be given at opening ceremonies - Friday 10am).  Also - chapter V is hosting (w/chapter A) one of the dirty bingo's on Friday at 3pm and is assisting chapter A on Saturday (1:45 - 3pm) with their bike games.  We will need as many members that are available to help out - it's a lot of fun to watch people do silly things they never thought they'd do on their bikes!!!  Oh - and don't forget - our chapter hosts and prepares the infamous Hobo pies (this year known as HO HO HO pies).  That will be directly after the light parade at the Red Barn on Saturday night & nbsp; Come one, come all (other than Craig...he is so good that we decided he doesn't have to help with anything anymore) to serve the other  members a great dessert.

RE: the national rally to Billings, MT:  Lynn & Pearl Bauer have asked us to pass this along...
They are looking for someone to ride to Billings with because this is Pearl's first long trip.  Lynn plans on making lots of stops and they are leaving Friday between 2 and 3 in the afternoon.  Taking I90 from Seattle to Billings  - anyone interested can contact them at 253-946-1054 or at mrbauer1943@msn.com   Thanks!!!

That's it for now.  Look later in the week for the July newsletter and any other updates.
